It's a Swamp Romp
Darby Clyde Fenster and Jerry Martin, broke and hungry, think they are on a train to Hollywood, California, but they actually are aboard a freight train to Hollywood, Florida. Hunger pangs force them to get off, and they are soon offered a ride by Maxie the Mailman. Passing by a chicken farm, the boys cannot resist plucking some chickens for themselves, but they are caught by owners Viola and Susie Zickafoose and Uncle Ned. A chase through the swamps ensues, with most of the local townspeople in hot pursuit. Aviator Bird-Dog Berrigan and his brother Hound-Dog help to track Darby Clyde and Jerry in their plane but cause Liquid Louie Tallfeathers and Cousin Elwood, who think that their illegal still is under attack, to launch homemade rockets. Bird-Dog is downed, but not before the still blows up around Cousin Urie, who is so drunk that he has been oblivious to the battle. Before everyone's personal dilemma is resolved, high octane booze, a highpowered Everglades airboat, and lots of war paint figure prominently in another mighty explosion.
