An unexplained epidemic rapidly spreads through a small town turning people into rabid monsters who feed on human flesh. The epidemic leaves a few towns folk uninfected and struggling to stay alive. With limited places to run, an evil doctor with a wicked God complex, and trivial personality clashes, surviving the mysterious epidemic may be the least of the problems for these few remaining town people.
