Ride 'em High

Western, USA, 1927



When his father is killed resisting arrest on a murder charge, Jim Demming, ignoring his father's warning, rides to Happy Valley to learn the truth. There he meets Betty Allen and defends her against Paul Demming, whose family is involved in a feud with the Allens. Jim offers to help the Allens pay off their debts by riding in the local rodeo. Paul learns that Jim is his cousin and causes him to lose the contest. Paul tries to bribe a lawyer to destroy his father's will, which bequeaths property to Jim, but the lawyer refuses and tells Jim the truth. Jim seeks out his cousin to revenge himself, but Paul is ultimately killed by his own men by mistake. The family feud ends with the marriage of Betty and Jim.
