The subject of domestic violence was addressed here in the fact-based story of a father shot to death by his teenaged son, fed up with the physical and emotional abuse he, his sister and their mother have been taking for years. Although the actual story took place in South Dakota, the film was shot entirely on location in Dallas, Texas.
