A sort of "Lassie Come Home" set in the wilds of Alaska, this Canadian-made TV-movie followed the 2,000-mile odyssey of a champion sled dog in search of a youngster who once saved his life, and is based on Walt Morey's popular -- in Canada, at least -- children's adventure tale. Filmed entirely on location in British Columbia and in Alaska.
