After being attacked by an injured wolf during an Alaska trip with his photojournalist girlfriend, a mechanic finds himself battling an inner monster from folklore legend. With a determined teenager trying to protect her younger sister and a perseverant detective trailing the string of animalistic murders, he must reconcile childhood traumas and his present relationships before the beast within destroys all that he loves.
