The misadventures of Musty Suffer (Edward Finney, billed as Eddie Finn), good-natured family man. He lives with his wife Sally (Gloria Jean), mother-in-law (Nina Varela), twin daughters Betsy and Netsy (Jane and Janette Carty), and dog Spartacus. Musty and his neighbor Blobbsy (El Brendel) want to give the kids a birthday party, but when the tax collector (Brad Olson) takes all their handy money, Musty, Sally, and Blobbsy (El Brendel) stage their own show to entertain the neighborhood kids.
