Thirty-something, James, Alex and Eric are best friends. Living in a small city in Michigan, they are constantly in trouble trying to make ends meet. Until the day barman Eric eavesdrops on a conversation between an old cop and two gangsters. The cop is given a briefcase full of cash, buying his silence about latters' crimes. The three buddies believe this money could change their lives and decide to try their luck.
